गोलीबारी लुसिले एवेन्यू के 1900 ब्लॉक में स्थित बैंक्वेट हॉल में हुई। घायलों को पास के अस्पतालों में भर्ती कराया गया है। स्टॉकटन के डिप्टी मेयर जेसन ली ने घटना पर गहरा दुख व्यक्त करते हुए बताया कि “एक खुशहाल समारोह को हिंसा ने तबाही में बदल दिया। प्रशासन पीड़ित परिवारों के संपर्क में है।”
घटना के बाद पुलिस ने इलाके की सड़कों को सील कर दिया है और आसपास के क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई है।
